Try this guilt-free, vegan, banana-based ice cream next time you crave something sweet! This maca nice cream is not only delicious but also has many health benefits. Maca is rich in amino acids, phytonutrients, fatty acids, vitamin C and iron. It also contains a higher level of calcium than milk!
- 4 frozen bananas
- 2 tablespoons agave nectar (or sweetener of choice)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 2 cups frozen cherries
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon FeelGood Superfoods® Maca Powder
- Blend together frozen bananas, agave nectar, vanilla extract and almond butter and set apart.
- Blend frozen cherries until chunky and mix with the banana mixture.
- Add dark chocolate chips and Maca Powder to the mixture and stir together.
- Serve and freeze any leftovers to enjoy later!
