Ginger is a flowering plant whose root has been used as a medicine and spice for centuries. Native to Southeast Asia, ginger root has a long history of being used by Ayurvedic herbalists to support digestive health. Ginger’s warming comfort is able to provide relief from occasional nausea, indigestion, and motion sickness.*
Gingerol is the main bioactive compound in ginger and is responsible for many of its benefits. Many take ginger to support a healthy inflammation and immune response. Research suggests that ginger may also provide relief during menstrual cycles.*

When I don't feel like making a smoothie, I add ginger and Ashwaganda powder to my apple cider/apple cider vinegar drink. The two powders mellow the tartness of the ACV. My only negative is the occasional larger chewy pieces of ginger that snuck by the sifters.
I use this every morning in my smoothie.
